time here has been passing too quickly. school's been pretty alright. sigh okay no, actually a little bit sucky :( baked more cookies after school on thursday then went to teaspirit with jayl and jess at night. we were playing this star board game thing where you have to move your checkers to the opposite side and oh my goodness haha it was so annoying!! we played it twice cause we always get stuck when only half of our checkers are at the opposite side!! haha so loser :(

shopped on friday to search for stuff to wear for uparty. yay, shopping was fun! dinner at monterey park after usc, then picked the cousin up from the airport cause he arrived earlier than supposed to. avalon's really nice, just that at the time we went, they changed the music to trance so it wasn't nice anymore :( went for hookah after that!

had cip yesterday morning; we had to hold long balloons to cheer the participants on. it was a walk to raise funds for lupus research. it's nice to see how sporting people are about these kinda things. i hope they find a cure for it soon!

went for horseriding after cip, with terence qi and minqi. chrystelle stef and jess were all sleeeeeping, haha tsktsk. horseriding's really fun, especially when the horse starts galloping haha, so funny!! you keep bouncing up and down on its back. it starts of scary but it keeps making you laugh! haha. my horsey's called margarita :) it's forever the slowest!! like even after u-turning and being the 4th in line(because i made him cut queue) all the other horses still over took him at the end!!! but yay i still love :)

oh no i wish i can have a horse too! they're all really pretty and tame. haha, this reminds me of one of those small little girls in movies that go "daddy, i want a pony!!" but riding on the horse really makes you feel so at ease

i just realised that i've got so many unpublished drafts sitting in the posting area. i'm always blogging half way then i'd either not know what to say anymore or just run away suddenly, and totally forget about it. teehee

math exam today was ajfhuufjaup again. i'll always be stuck on a few questions for a long long time while doing the paper, but thenzzz when i go home and try to do it again, i'd always, very miraculously, be able to solve them instantly! so #^!@%#!&@%!*@ :(

stayed over at jess's on friday and we baked white chocolate chip cookies! it was so yummy! haha like really very very yummy! :D but going to her house triggered off a chain reaction. oh my gosh we snacked so much :( and i really thought i was determined! sigh, it was like temptation island :( and now i'm back to eating a lot again. haha but yay it was so fun! we took so many retarded photos haha and we played wii until we had muscle ache and we watched My Tutor's Friend(Kwon Sang Woo so cute!!) and we ate so much pringles and drank so much tea, and we were so act cute and so act cool, and i love walking to ralphs at night :D

haha jessjess, our photos are so ewww haha but yay even though you're such a fatty, i love you! and i will learn to be less disgusting okay :)

qi returned this morning and as usual, the whole family had breakfast at some random coffee shop! terence flew off in the afternoon. but we'll be meeting him over thanksgiving :)

ah, yay, it was great seeing them on mon and today at lix's :D i've only been with them for a month or so, but i really really love them a lot! it's just so fun seeing them so crazy together, haha. thanks friends for still being as friendly and sweeeet as ever, teeeeeehee. it's heart-warming :)

paternal family gathering over at my uncle's today. i lurrrrve the kiddos :) they're so so adorable!!! they were applying make up on me today, i really looked like i was ready to go on the stage for wayang performance lah, haha. and roy was like "i'll marry you on wednesday!" hahaha

my dad was telling my aunts about the time i got lost in disney world haha. i was a young and fat girl who didn't know anything at age 5 :) he said when they realised i was gone, they really really thought i wouldn't be found ever ever ever again! haha, like that's it. haha. okay actually that thought's pretty scarrrry :O but teehee. terence went missing before too, in Knott's. oh no, the fuzzie wuzzie cuzzies, haha! he was 10, so he knew a little more than i did! but the thing is, the first person he approached mending the store told him he was busy! haha! that's damn funny!! imagine a small little lost boy, so frightened, running to tell you he's lost and you replying "i'm busy now!! i don't have time!!" haha, so poorthing!!

yay, i'm back in sg, sgsgsgsgsgsg :)
and one week has passed!! oh no, why so fast :( booo

but yay, at least it's been really very very fun meeting up with the nong-time-no-see fwens :D yipee, it's really da best!! :D they make me shooo harpie!! and i've put on 1 kg since coming back haha, cool shitz.

anyhows, the flight back was fun. 10 of us were on the same flight and we kinda celebrated stef's birthday =)

SUNDAY:
gwenny bongbong and fongy came over!! right when i was about to step out of my house to start on my trim and fit session! gwenny said i look like i was going to run a marathon!! HAHA! anyhows, sweetiepies(awww) brought my 4th breakfast for that morning!! so, i was like a fatty pig haha. their mission to kill mr mosquito was hilarious!! and bongtingli had to zooooooom in to all the photos we took. haha!! wah, super duper urgerli!! but yay!!! i love you guys!!! :D

went over to megan's house after which. it was so funny, haha we took an hour long afternoon nap together, haha! yay, i love meggie :) brian boy was not there though =( i wanted to see how much he has grown!! he's the most adorable pri 4 boy ever!! haha nevermind, i'll go over again soon :D then had dinner with the family at turf city.

(oh no, i just realised this is gonna be a very bOoRiNgGgG and mundane post, haha but heck :] )

MONDAY:
met gwenny and niccccckkky and sam!!! bongbong was asleeep :( jap food rockzxz!!! :D and nicole fooooo was being as mean as ever!!!!! haha, okay kiddding, actually she was so funny!!! haha

TUESDAY:
met up with jess minki jayl cheryl! played cards as always haha and then kewl neos! :D

ahem, front row beauties met up at night at newton!!! ah, it was so much fun!!! haha i really love it when all four of us are together! haha we do the most retarded of retarded things, and we take the ugliestestestest photos ever!! :D and we laugh non-stop together! oh no, i miss sn times!!!! boohoo. but ah, yay, our next trip's down at night safari :D oh yipee can't wait!!!!!

WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY:
jess baybeh and i sent cheryl off on wed. oh no clowny! if you read this, PLEASE FLY BACK TO LA IN FALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we need your lame-ness :( headed to town for our hair cut, and oh no, my hair was so ugly, it was so sad :( i miss my long repunzel hair :( boohoo, but nevermind, it'll grow grow grow back soon!!!! =D

met nicol ongy after that. had nice durian and mango dessert!! and my long craved for XLBs :) teehee, yay, yummy! then went to cuba libre at clarke quay. it was really nice :) thanks nic! slept over at her house, then prata and swimmmming the next morning(with macaroni and cheeeeese) :D yay, thanks dear, i had a great time :) home, went over to jack's for a while. and then, i had my first proper home-cooked meal since returning :)

FRIDAY:
spent the afternoon with scandal dearest at island creamery. jae dear was supposed to come but due to ahem, unforseen circumstances, she couldn't make it in the end. haha. it was really great catching up, etc :) haha and all her little stories, haha tsk tsk :P love you scandal :)

met laineybainey and lion oldteeth at newton for dinner. and lion lee is a very fusssy wassy eater haha :P phototaking after that, while walking to heeren was just so so so very very fun!!!! :D oh yay, i really love!!!!

YAY, thank you so much so much friends for squeeeezing out very very precious time to meet me!! i know you guys are so so busy with jc work etc. i love you guys a lot a lot!!! forever and ever :D yay!!! i'll ahem think of more kewl and happening stuff to do in the mean time, teehee :D

been having classes for the third week now. math is getting sucky. i'm so fed-up with it now i've decided to stop on homework for tonight :) yay! as for art history, i'm never handing in the assignment on time. it's like no matter how early i start on it, i'll always complete it after qi does :O why o why am i such a slow poke. i really think the professor doesn't really like me, boohoo. but aside from that, summer seems much livlier compared to spring, so goody! i really like the sun :) been crashing people's house after school everyday the past week, and haha its so so funny seeing our plan getting started on! how jesslyn goes "chrys!! STOP EATING!!!" and how we know our plan is not ever gonna work, especially since we just found more food in ys's house. haha friends, there's no hope

i can hear all the popping noises the fire works are making. it's Independence Day today, so people are setting off their own ones. qi's among one of those kewl beans! welllll, i really wanted to be cool and try it too, except i got too lazzzzzzzzy to change and all. shit me haha, i'm getting too lazy for my own good

i hate 1408 so much. i really really hate it!! and ah, i've never hated a movie before! it wasn't the paranomial stuff they showed existed that made it disturbing. it somehow reminded me of death and i just really couldn't stand it :( i really wanted to walk out of the cinema and watch knocked up instead :(

anyhow stef and yeushiuan got their iphones yesterday. haha gadget fanatics. ys queued since his class ended in the morning and got his phone only at around 21:00 pm. haha ah, that's a crazy thing i'll never do! but gah yes, the phone's really cool :)

the fragility of life

somehow the news affected me quite some bit. when qi was on the phone with my mom, she suddenly mentioned "xxx" and then after a long pause, "passed away?!" it caused me to freeze for a moment. it was so unbelievable i had to hear it from my mom herself to trust that the information was true. he was not someone i knew, except from the occassional mention of him by my brother, seeing him during trainings while picking my brother up and during various races. but the sudden news of his departure came as a rather huge blow and caused tears to trickle down my face involuntarily. it's so sad :( it's so hard not to think about it. reading the articles/blogs online makes you cry. it still seems so implausible. so unfair :( it's so so sad :( sigh, why's life so unpredictable? we never will know what's gonna happen next :(

imagine someone so dear to the heart leaving so abruptly. without a word. the emptiness and sense of loss you'd experience. imagine wanting to talk to someone, who's already gone, so so badly :(

"treasure what you have." i realise that's what i'm often found telling myself when smth tragic happens. i really should learn to do that.

sent jayl and victor off at the airport yesterday. andddd, we were all so tempted to board the plane too!! :O at this point of time, everyone was on their phone checking their grades. haha it was such an amusing sight!

aside from having math class starting at 0715hrs from monday to friday, summer doesn't seem as dreadful now :)
1. chrystelle jess valine and i have BIG goals to accomplish!
2. and we're looking forward to turning into probable ahem surfer galzxz!(haha YES JOIN US STEF!!!)
3. in fall jess and i are gonna take pilates! oh yay so fun! :D
4. most of our flight back is on the 27th, so we'll be celebrating stef's birthday on the plane! the poor girl's gonna totally miss her birthday due to the time zone thingy and so yay that means more fun on board :DDD (donch worry stef babeh, we'll make your birthday as memorable as possible :D)

i keep craving unagi and cream cheese these days!!!

last paper today, so it marks the end of my spring semester. a week's break and then summer starts. ahh sigh how i wish i don't have to stay for summer. then again, who wants to stay here for summer right?

met bel on tues night and wed, and it was great. really really great. like the happiest two days ever here. she was being her same old very annoying self and it was really fun. it's assuring to know that despite the months of not seeing each other etc, things are still the same. thank you bel, i love you! thank you so much too qi for all your driving though i know you hate it so much! i really really appreciate it! best sister ever, i love you! met fawn as well and haha she filled me in with all that was happening in class. so egggciting! teehee and the way she speaks & comments on things is still as funny, haha. sigh, i miss having nice talks that don't make sense and erupting into fits of laughter for no reason. i miss especially the comfort a close friend brings. sigh sigh. okay sigh i must stop sighing and stop this.

anyhows haha guess what, while dining with my parents, uncle, aunt and their friends last week, we found out that we were actually having dinner with lay's dad!! oh my oh my, it was such a shocking coincidence! ahh why is the world so tiny weenily small!

okay time to watch my One Million Stars Falling From The Sky. teehee, halu is so cute!!(haha i still can't remember his real name and AHH NIC MICH SUI!! haha remember Pride!!)
